For Sydney and Zack’s June wedding, we traveled to the Lake House at Bulow. This is such a great, hidden venue that makes for some amazing photos. Sydney and Zack had a ceremony by the water and the reception by the dock. On A Limb Floral Studio did a great job with flowers, and incorporated orange and teal to match the color scheme. We had a great time getting to know these two, Congratulations! Sydney and Zack were also published online at On The Go Bride, and you can check it out here!
Malley and Austin met online, and there first date was at Hometeam where they ate, tossed a football around, walked on the beach, and found something special in each other! We are so excited to be photographing their wedding this weekend at the beautiful Middleton Plantation, and here are pictures from their engagement session at Boone Hall Plantation! Congrats!!
Jeanna and Kensie met in college and were married at Folly Beach in May. It was very important for Kensie and Jeanna’s wedding to be a celebration of love. The love they share, love for there family, and love for there friends. They wanted a simple but elegant atmosphere and with help from Duvall Events the day was perfect. Congrats Jeanna and Kensie! Jeanna and Kensie were also featured on A Lowcountry Wedding and you check it out here!
Vanessa and Ethan had a beautiful southern elegant wedding at Wild Dunes Resort. JW Weddings and Events coordinated the event and Ooh! Events designed the even and the flowers. I love the colors she picked and how sophisticated the outdoor tent looks! Congrats guys! Vanessa and Ethan’s wedding was also featured on Love Toast Blog and you can check it out here!
After several trips to Charleston and becoming engaged here, Wisconsin couple Tory and Mike decided to get married here, and we are so glad we got to be apart of their day! They got married at St.Mary’s Catholic Church followed by a reception at Planter’s Inn where the Peninsula Grill served dinner. JW Weddings & Events helped show off the south for all of Tory and Mike’s guests. It was very important for Tory and Mike to have their children be just as much a part of the day as themselves. Wanda took some great pictures all around downtown with the newlyweds with their children.
Laura and Keane met at a Citadel tailgate and so it was very fitting the two got married at Summerall Chapel. Sara York Grimshaw was the florist and she did such a great job making the ceremony and reception so elegant and whimsical. The reception was held at Harborside East and Cru Catering and Event Haus made sure everyone had a great time and great food. Congrats Laura and Keane!
Abby and Andrew met at Charleston Southern University in 2009, and got married this past April. They had there rehearsal dinner at Red’s on Shem Creek and the following day a ceremony at Immaculate Conception Church in Goose Creek and the reception at Wescott Golf Club. Megan at Mingle helped make a nautical themed day, with First Bloom of Charleston adding some rope to the boutineer’s and centerpieces. Abbie’s Bakery tied in the same idea with a beautiful white and navy cake. We had a great time getting to know these guys over the past few months and wish them lots of happiness!
Kendra and Matt were married at Mepkin Abbey with a reception at Old Santee Canal State Park. They had a wedding that reminded me of a southern, vintage, tea party! Each table was accented with a cake, to remind guests that Life and Love is Sweet, and they wanted guests to go home with a little something sweet. Kendra and Matt had a beautiful day and they got to be married under the sun in the state they love so much! Congratulations you two!
Today we are sharing with you Robert and Brittany’s Historic Rice Mill Wedding. Brittany’s dress was absolutely breathtaking, White on Daniel Island helped her pick a dress that brought out Brittany’s southern art deco style. Stuart Lawrence Salon pulled everything together with Brittany’s beautiful jeweled hairpiece. Brittany and Robert wanted to have a low stress, fun, care free day and Southern Protocal helped make this dream come true. Guests dined on food by Good Food Catering, and danced to music provided by Two Three Ways.
