Meredith and Bryan met through mutual friends, and they wanted a wedding to truly show of their southern roots. Bryan is a carpenter and Meredith is a chief so they wanted to make sure there was a lot of wood accents as well as good southern food at the wedding. Bryan even constructed the cake stands with wood from the family farm, how awesome and unique! B. Gourmet Catering coordinated this beautiful day, and also catered the event with dishes like fried green tomatoes and shrimp and grits. Rentals were provided by Event Works. Rachel & Tony

Rachel and Tony were married in August at St. Benedict Catholic Church with a reception following at Harborside East. With help from Duvall Events, DeClare Cakes, and Gown Boutique of Charleston Rachel had a beautiful wedding day. After the ceremony, Nathan stopped downtown and got some great shots of the couple at the Cistern on College of Charleston’s campus. Harborside East is an overlooked venue in Mount Pleasant that has breathtaking views of the Cooper River Bridge. Thanks guys for letting us be apart of your day!

Lisa & Josh

After living in Charleston for several years, Lisa moved back to her hometown of Baltimore where she met and started dating Josh. Lisa wanted to bring Josh to Charleston for his birthday and he fell in love with the city and the two decided they would get married at Magnolia Plantation! Lisa and Josh were married in August, and had a beautiful rustic and southern charm wedding with help from Duvall Events. Cakes by Kasarda made an amazing ruffled cake that was peach colored and ivory to match her color scheme. Lashes and Lace had Lisa looking stunning on her day, and the bang Leggz kept guests partying all night! Congrats Lisa and Jeff, we wish you many years of happiness!!

Amanda & Dave

To start the year off, I am going to take you back to a summer wedding! Amanda and Dave were married at Magnolia Plantation in August. Amanda wanted a Lowcountry rustic themed day, with a little bit of Charlestonian elements mixed in. She had palmetto flowers incorporated throughout the day, and Event Haus provided all of the rentals for the day. Lashes and Lace made sure Amanda looked perfect for her day, and Bridal House of Charleston helped her to pick the perfect dress! Congrats Amanda and Dave and we wish you a Happy 2015!
