One of the blessings of my career is being invited back to our past wedding couples to photograph their babies. Baby Eden is a beautiful little girl, and a perfect personality for Harry and Farrah.

Engagement Portrait Session in Downtown Charleston

I’m so thankful that Vandana, Tiru, and I were able to get together for this session. In a few weeks, I’m looking forward to photographing their traditional Indian ceremony in Spartanburg, and I think that this session really helped us click so that the wedding day will be that much better. Enjoy!

Bellissima Boudoir January 28-29th from mellBella

Our first Bellissima Boudoir Event is this Friday and Saturday January 28-29th!!! We still have a few open spots for Saturday, so treat yourself to a spa-type day and your man to some photos of you that he’ll LOVE for Valentine’s Day! mellBella Boudoir is one way we honor our Bella Beauties and their husbands, with classy and sexy boudoir photography. It’s part of our quest to remind women that they are way more beautiful than they think they are.

For this event, imagine your photo shoot taking place in a beautiful penthouse suite filled with the smell of lavender and great music playing in the background. Add to that, some delicious snacks and drinks including wine, champagne, or other delightful non alcoholic beverages.

The session fee is $200 (plus sales tax), and it includes all of the above and:
*$100 credit
*1 hour hair/makeup session
*45min-1hr individual portrait session

What a ride!

For our 5 year anniversary last August, Mell and I went to Knobles Amusement park in Pennsylvania (a way cool vintage park that Mell went to as a kid). Mike and Rachel Mizzell were extraordinarily generous enough to fly up to take our pictures (from which we have an AMAZING collection of anniversary images!).

At the end of the evening, Mell’s old friends, Daphney and Nate came to have their engagement pictures for their wedding the next day, and Mike, Rachel, Mell and I had a field day. Here’s one image that Mell and I got on the twirling swing ride. Mell is on one swing, and I’m shooting from another, to take pictures of the couple behind us (whew!). The Mizzells snapped some shots of us pulling off this maneuver (2nd image).

I was dragging the shutter, and using 580EXII Speedlites rear-curtain sync and radiopoppers to stop the motion after the blur.
