Leslie and Ed’s Home Sweet Home Wedding

December 30, 2013/in weddings/by admin

Leslie and Ed were married at their home in Summerville, South Carolina. They were surrounded by their children and closest friends and family.  Leslie was escorted down the aisle with her son on one arm and her father on the other. The reception was a traditional backyard barbecue with food provided by Sticky Fingers and the local band Plain Jane provided entertainment for the evening. One of the most unique aspects of the wedding were the hand bell choir, Palmetto Bronze Handbells. Hand bells are an old southern tradition that was used throughout the ceremony. Sweetest Blessings created a beautiful three tiered round cake which was wrapped with yellow, navy blue, light blue, and white stripes.  Decor included lanterns with candles and small flowers inside. The picnic tables were dressed up for the occasion with a navy tablecloth and a burlap runner with a “B” inscribed on the ends.
