Amber & Chad
/in Wedding/by adminAmber and Chad chose Wild Dunes for their destination wedding because they love the wildlife, flowers, and scenery that the beach possess. OK Florist did a great job designing the event. We had a great time getting to know them, and wish them lots of happiness in the years to come! Amber and Chad were also featured on A Lowcountry Wedding and you can check that out here!
Jessica & Scott
/in Wedding/by adminJessica and Scott chose Charleston for their destination wedding for the southern charm and grace that the city eludes. The ceremony was held at the Confederate Home and the reception at the Old Exchange Building, both downtown. I love the magnolia flowers that were used as a bouquet, they were so beautiful. Lauren from Fox Events was great to work with, and the day was exactly what Jessica and Scott envisioned.
Danielle and Josh’s Engagement
/in Engagement/by adminDanielle and Josh met at a Halloween party in 2010. Josh was down for a week to play golf and the two ended up seeing each other every day he was here! Josh convinced Danielle to move to Pittsburgh with him and even though the transition of moving from the South to the North has been difficult for Danielle, she says Josh has made it pretty great. Here are some shots from there engagement session, can’t wait to see more pictures from their wedding in a few weeks!
Erin& Joe
/in Wedding/by adminErin and Joe are such a fun couple, and you can tell by all the adorable pictures they take together! The two got married in June at Summerall Chapel with a reception following at the Historic Rice Mill. Tiger Lily florist made beautiful white bouquets that really popped against the black bridesmaids dresses. I also love that the grooms and groomsmen boutonnieres were shot gun shells. Ashley at Ashley and Co Bridal Hair and White on Daniel Island made sure Erin looked beautiful on her special day. Wishing you two many years of happiness, so glad we got to be apart of your day! Erin and Joe were also featured on On The Go Bride and you can check it out here!
Sydney & Zack
/in Wedding/by adminFor Sydney and Zack’s June wedding, we traveled to the Lake House at Bulow. This is such a great, hidden venue that makes for some amazing photos. Sydney and Zack had a ceremony by the water and the reception by the dock. On A Limb Floral Studio did a great job with flowers, and incorporated orange and teal to match the color scheme. We had a great time getting to know these two, Congratulations! Sydney and Zack were also published online at On The Go Bride, and you can check it out here!
Zabrina & James
/in Wedding/by adminZabrina and James met while working together and they got married at Magnolia Plantation. Z wanted a chic, country, vintage style wedding. She had wine barrels to hold the programs for the ceremony, and also wine barrels topped with an old barn door for the dessert table. They had a mixture of mahogany farm tables with lace runners and round tables on the sides with ivory damask linens. Lanterns lined the Carriage House along the farm tables. Pretty Petals did a great job with the flowers for the ceremony, adding some succulents to the mix for a variety of colors. The couple rented a 1957 school bus from Lowcountry Valet & Shuttle for their leave. Congratulations to Z and James, we wish you many years of happiness!

Rachel & Robert
/in Wedding/by adminRachel and Robert both went to the University of Georgia, but met in Charleston during Spring Break. They were married at St. Luke’s Chapel and had the reception at the Thomas Bennett house. Rachel did not have a “vision” for the day, but used natural colors like green and white to make the occasion perfect. The flower lamps made by a family friend were just amazing and added such a great accent to the reception. Rachel’s dress is from Modern Trousseau in Charleston, and she looked stunning in it. We are so glad we got to see this sweet couple tie the knot! Rachel and Robert were also featured on Borrowed and Blue and you can check it out here!

Allyson was breathtaking thanks to Ash & Co Bridal Hair. We enjoyed spending the day with Allyson and Rob, congratulations!
