Hillary and Lee

Hillary and Lee were married at Boone Hall Plantation on Valentine’s Day. Stephanie from Sweetgrass Events worked with Hillary on designing a day where there was a basic color scheme and the bridal party got to pick their look so they could be comfortable and ready to party! She had a beautiful jeweled flower bouquet. The couple are huge South Carolina Gamecocks fan and Cocky showed up at the reception and dancing the night away with entertainment from Other Brother Entertainment! Cru Catering had guests’ mouth watering with delicious food and Sablee Patisserie and Chocolaterie designed a beautiful three layered purple ombre cake with a Reese Peanut Butter Cup groom’s cake for the chocolate peanut butter lovers. Event Haus provided rentals for the day and Hillary looked her best thanks to Ash & Co. Bridal Hair.

Audrey and Thomas

It may have been a little chilly, but it was a beautiful day in Charleston for Audrey and Thomas’ wedding! The day started with Audrey being pampered by Pamela Leash on make-up and Joyous Occasions on hair. Audrey had a beautiful gown from Alexia’s Bridal located in Raleigh, North Carolina. She carried with her a fur wrap for those chilly moments throughout the day. Kendra from Weddings By Leah was so wonderful to work with and she did a great job coordinating the day. In Bloom helped decorate the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation with palmetto leaves and Helen’s Florist put together the red and white flower bouquets. Guests munched on boiled peanuts, a South Carolina favorite, from Cru Catering while dancing the night away with entertainment provided by Donnie Atwood. Audrey is a lymphoma survivor and as a gift to all of their guests, the couple made a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Laurette & Bob

Laurette and Bob wanted a fun, laid back wedding ceremony and a huge party afterwards to celebrate their love! Boone Hall Plantation was the setting for this special day and the wonderful staff from MOSAIC did a fantastic job designing, coordinating, and catering the event. I love the outdoor tea party feel that the day had. Blue Plant Green Events provided beautiful colorful flowers, and as an added bonus, Coastal Crust was there so guests could munch on pizza throughout the night. Congrats Laurette and Bob, we are so glad we got to be apart of your fun day~

Ginny & Todd Are Getting Married!

Happy Friday everyone! I am excited for today’s blog. Sweet couple Ginny and Todd are getting married TOMORROW!! They had an engagement session at Boone Hall Plantation back in the Spring and I just love all the colors from the flowers. We can’t wait to celebrate with you two tomorrow! Lisa & Kevyn

Lisa and Kevyn wanted a destination wedding where friends and family could all come together to celebrate their love as well as have a nice vacation. Boone Hall Plantation was the perfect venue for them for it’s relaxed atmosphere and they both love being outside! Ooh Events worked closely with Lisa to bring together a natural colored, ivory and blush, classic wedding. And the flower girls were just too adorable to leave out! What a georgous bride and groom, congratulations Lisa and Kevyn!

Malley & Austin’s Engagement

Malley and Austin met online, and there first date was at Hometeam where they ate, tossed a football around, walked on the beach, and found something special in each other! We are so excited to be photographing their wedding this weekend at the beautiful Middleton Plantation, and here are pictures from their engagement session at Boone Hall Plantation! Congrats!!

Rebecca and Thomas at Boone Hall Plantation

Rebecca and Thomas had a traditional wedding ceremony, followed by a reception at Boone Hall Plantation in March. Bridal House of Charleston helped Rebecca to pick out an amazing two-piece off the shoulder dress. Holly with A Charleston Event coordinated the day, while Keepsake Florist did a great job with flowers and decorations. Rebecca and Thomas were met outside of St. John’s Lutheran Church with a horse and carriage from Palmetto Carriage Works. Emily and Casey at Magnolia Plantation

Emily and Casey are from Chicago and had a destination wedding at Magnolia Plantation, and you can tell the fun nature they have by these pictures. The wedding was very casual with the bride wearing a tea length dress. The flowers and decorations added to the southern feel of the plantation. Duvall Catering and Event Design did a wonderful job catering and decorating for this wedding, we always enjoy working with Duvall!

Thomas and Becky’s Boone Hall Engagement

A blind date in 2010 is how this adorable couple got started! Becky picked Thomas up from the Citadel and the rest is history. They had engagement photos taken at Boone Hall, and this will also be the location of their wedding reception on Saturday. We are looking forward to spending the day with you two!
