Charleston Wedding Photography – Elizabeth and Steve’s Sunrise Wedding on Folly Beach

Elizabeth and Steve had a small, intimate wedding at sunrise on Folly Beach. Yes, I said SUNRISE. It was a laid back affair with family and close friends who were willing to travel and celebrate with them VERY early in the morning. Elizabeth and I hit it off immediately at their consultation with very similar senses of humor, and Steve was ready for anything the day had in store.

This is the wedding that makes me love wedding photography.  Everyone was happy and chill.  We were photographing a sibling of a previous bride, so we knew many of the guests.  A beautiful location at the Boone Hall Plantation Cotton Dock, and a spectacular sunsent (complete with rainbow!)

Kentucky Derby Themed Bridal Shower

Elaine had the classiest bridal shower I’ve ever seen at Circa 1886 and the Wentworth Mansion.  Organized by her maid of honor the ladies dawned amazing hats and had a Kentucky Derby themed shower.

Magnolia Gardens Wedding Photography

Magnolia Plantation is so, so lovely. It has to be on of the top 5 gardens in the entire US — especially this time of the year when the Azaleas are out. Tracey was such a joy to work with, and Glen was and his guys were a ton of fun to shoot. Wanda and I agreed that this was a great wedding to start wedding season.
