Kristina and Bryan met while attending the University of Rhode Island and had an activity filled wedding! Kristina wanted to keep the day to a natural feel, and make sure all guest had a great time. They had bocci ball, corn hole, cigar rolling, a smores station, and of course, lots of dancing! The wedding was at Magnolia Plantation, such a beautiful venue all year around, and Beth from Wildflowers Inc did such a great job coordinating, designing, and providing the flowers for the day. The carriage house looked whimsical with the greens hanging from the ceiling and the beautiful lights that were hung. The couple was married by Wedding Minister in Charleston under a tent from Event Haus. After the ceremony guests ate delicious meals from Cru Catering and had apple pie and pecan pie for dessert. The teams at Vanity Salon and Gown Boutique of Charleston had Kristina looking gorgeous as she walked down the isle to her groom. The couple left the party as husband and wife in a classic white car from Lowcountry Valet and Shuttle.
Kelly and Brian had a classic wedding ceremony at St Benedict Church in Mt Pleasant. Their friends and family then all gathered at Alhambra Hall for festivities! Kelly looked amazing with a dress from White on Daniel Island and Hair and Make-Up by Carrie at Paper Dolls Wedding Hair and Make-Up. Guests enjoyed food from Hamby Catering and a good time thanks to music from Other Brother Entertainment. With good food, good music and beautiful details by JVM Events everywhere you looked, it was a wedding no guest will soon forget!
After living in Charleston for several years, Lisa moved back to her hometown of Baltimore where she met and started dating Josh. Lisa wanted to bring Josh to Charleston for his birthday and he fell in love with the city and the two decided they would get married at Magnolia Plantation! Lisa and Josh were married in August, and had a beautiful rustic and southern charm wedding with help from Duvall Events. Cakes by Kasarda made an amazing ruffled cake that was peach colored and ivory to match her color scheme. Lashes and Lace had Lisa looking stunning on her day, and the bang Leggz kept guests partying all night! Congrats Lisa and Jeff, we wish you many years of happiness!!
Kate and Joe met while bowling with friends, and after Joe won Kate white sunglasses from a crane machine the two fell madly in love! Kate and Joe had a very rustic wedding at the Historic Rice Mill, where they had lots of pink, burlap, and of course cowboy boots. Everyone had a great time partying the night away with music provided by Ascend Entertainment, and Anna Bella Floral created beautiful flower arrangements for the day. I loved her dress, it was such a great pick that match the day and the theme perfectly! Kate and Joe were so awesome all day despite the rain, and we are so glad we got to capture such sweet moments. Congrats guys!
Sally and Micheal met through a mutual friend and they wanted a wedding that was Southern Classic meets Northern Italian. The ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the reception at Hibernian Hall. Super Delux was the seven piece band and they did a great job doing a second line, which is a tradition from New Orleans were they play while wedding party and guests make procession into the ceremony. Ok Florist did a great job creating beautiful pieces for the day, and Modern Trousseau helped Sally pick out the perfect dress for her! Congrats Sally and Michael!
Nothing could stop these two from saying “I DO”, not even the hot July sun! Kamilah and Tashir were married at the Island House on John’s Island, and with such breathtaking views it is no wonder they did not care about the heat. It was such a beautiful day for a beautiful couple. Confetti of Charleston did a great job designing the coordinating the event. I loved the burlap table runners and the beautiful wildflower pictures Wanda captured with the bride and her bridesmaids. Laurette and Bob wanted a fun, laid back wedding ceremony and a huge party afterwards to celebrate their love! Boone Hall Plantation was the setting for this special day and the wonderful staff from MOSAIC did a fantastic job designing, coordinating, and catering the event. I love the outdoor tea party feel that the day had. Blue Plant Green Events provided beautiful colorful flowers, and as an added bonus, Coastal Crust was there so guests could munch on pizza throughout the night. Congrats Laurette and Bob, we are so glad we got to be apart of your fun day~
Amber and Chad chose Wild Dunes for their destination wedding because they love the wildlife, flowers, and scenery that the beach possess. OK Florist did a great job designing the event. Annalise and Charlie started dating on May 24, became engaged on May 24, and so it was very fitting for them to get married on May 24! Annalise wanted a stress-free, cocktail elegance wedding at Planter’s Inn. It was a small wedding with close friends and family coming from Chicago and Ooh! Events did a wonderful job creating a laid-back, but very elegant day!
Alicia and Matt were excited to get married at Hilton Head, SC were everyone was on a mini vacation and their north and south families could meet and celebrate there love. The Beach House was a beautiful venue that offered a cozy beach feel for the guests. A Floral Affair and Amazing Event Rentals were great to work and did a fabulous job creating a day Alicia and Matt will remember forever!
