Jessica and Scott chose Charleston for their destination wedding for the southern charm and grace that the city eludes. The ceremony was held at the Confederate Home and the reception at the Old Exchange Building, both downtown. I love the magnolia flowers that were used as a bouquet, they were so beautiful. Lauren from Fox Events was great to work with, and the day was exactly what Jessica and Scott envisioned. 
Danielle and Josh met at a Halloween party in 2010. Josh was down for a week to play golf and the two ended up seeing each other every day he was here! Josh convinced Danielle to move to Pittsburgh with him and even though the transition of moving from the South to the North has been difficult for Danielle, she says Josh has made it pretty great. For Sydney and Zack’s June wedding, we traveled to the Lake House at Bulow. This is such a great, hidden venue that makes for some amazing photos. Sydney and Zack had a ceremony by the water and the reception by the dock. On A Limb Floral Studio did a great job with flowers, and incorporated orange and teal to match the color scheme. Rachel and Robert both went to the University of Georgia, but met in Charleston during Spring Break. They were married at St. Luke’s Chapel and had the reception at the Thomas Bennett house. Rachel did not have a “vision” for the day, but used natural colors like green and white to make the occasion perfect. The flower lamps made by a family friend were just amazing and added such a great accent to the reception. Rachel’s dress is from Modern Trousseau in Charleston, and she looked stunning in it. Anna and John met online, fell in love, and we are so glad they did so we could be apart of their special day! Anna and John are not from Charleston but they were drawn to Magnolia Plantation for its enchantment, beauty, and mossy oaks. Duvall Events did a great job with designing the event with everything from the flowers to the beautiful burlap accents on the centerpieces. Lashes & Lace worked with Anna to make sure she looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day! We are so glad we got to know these two and wish them lots of happiness! 
Kelly and Marshall got married at Legare Waring House in May, and they had a beautiful navy and green wedding. I love the centerpieces that looked like mini gardens on the table, the flowers were provided by A Southern Season. Kelly and Marshall are a very sweet couple and we were so honored to be apart of their special day~ 
Charleston is one of Tiffany and Nico’s favorite places to visit, so they knew they wanted to share this beautiful city with friends and family for their wedding. Nico is Chilean, and Mediterranean Catering did a great job incorporating that into the menu for the evening. Wickliffe House had the perfect decor for what Tiffany envisioned for her wedding. FINI Events, Event Haus, and Tiger Lily Florist worked with Tiffany to tie in her colors of blush, gold, ivory, and taupe for a romantic feel to the day. They had the ceremony outside followed by a cocktail house on the second floor of the home and a tented reception outside. Susan and Ryan had the perfect wedding to share with you during this time of year! They had a Auburn University themed wedding for Ryan’s love of the university! The colors were orange and navy, and Holly at a Charleston Event did a great job adding little touches of chevron to make the event classy and southern. Country and Lace Florist did beautiful orange and navy flowers to tie into the theme. The ceremony and reception were held at Creek Club at I’on, Susan loved the idea of getting married under the mossy oaks by Hobcaw Creek. The Cake Stand added some personal touches with dog figurines featuring the couples dogs! Congrats you guys, and GO TIGERS! 
Anna and Bill met in college and they had a beautiful wedding at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in May. Cindy from Engaging Events did a great job designing the event, and Event Works provided all of the rentals. Vanity Salon was the hair and make-up artist for Anna. We were so honored to be apart of your day, congratulations Anna and Bill! 
What better way to show off Charleston than with a The Notebook themed engagement? Marcella and Ward are getting married on Saturday, and I wanted to share with you the pictures Nathan got at Cypress Gardens and downtown Charleston at the American Theater.
