Stephanie and Phil had a beach wedding at Seabrook Island. Mell had some gorgeous natural light shots throughout the day. Stephanie described their wedding as an important day that showed the love she a Phil share while having something special for everyone. Gift bags with Charleston Chews and Sweet Grass Roses were given to guests as well as a Cigar Bar for all to enjoy!
Jill and Steve may be from the north, but after becoming engaged the two Charleston City Police Officers knew they wanted to off everything they love about Charleston. Kayla at MOD Events did an excellent job at making the day perfect for the couple and showing off their police background. They had a gorgeous outdoor wedding at the Confederate House and Upstairs at Midtown was an extremely unique reception location that provided outstanding views of downtown Charleston. OK Florist made beautiful flowers make the occasion unforgettable!
Whitney and John spread there love all over downtown and created some beautiful moments for there engagement photos.
Anyone can see that Aaron and Vicky are a fun couple and even I wish I was at there wedding! It looks like such a great day was celebrated by all! Ashley Russell at Ashley Nicole Events created such a fun event from peacock feathers on the bridesmaids shoes, to a beautiful outdoor reception where everyone partied all night long! The ceremony and reception both took place at Lagare Waring House in Charleston.
Dunes West Golf Club was the beautiful setting for Kristen and Dan’s September Wedding. Ashley Russell at Ashley Nicole Events did a wonderful job creating a elegant, traditional, southern wedding. Jade Water Designs provided beautiful bouquets of purple and grey to match the brides clean and elegant color palette. The bride and the groom had a very sweet moment before the ceremony where Dan was blindfolded, but still got to say a few words to his sweet bride.
Caleb and Jennifer knew they wanted to get married in her hometown of Charleston, SC, and since Caleb is a graduate of the Citadel and Jennifer’s great grandfather was an architect of the chapel, Summerall Chapel was the perfect place for there September wedding. Both the bride and the groom love the water so they went with a nautical themed wedding at Lighthouse on the Creek. Country and Lace provided beautiful flowers for the ceremony and reception and Mosaic had a wonderful menu guests enjoyed all evening. Wedding Cakes by Jim Smeal had a beautiful cake which had the couples monogram in the center. Caleb and Jennifer love spending time on their boat so they decided they would leave the reception by boat!
Leslie and Ed were married at their home in Summerville, South Carolina. They were surrounded by their children and closest friends and family. Leslie was escorted down the aisle with her son on one arm and her father on the other. The reception was a traditional backyard barbecue with food provided by Sticky Fingers and the local band Plain Jane provided entertainment for the evening. One of the most unique aspects of the wedding were the hand bell choir, Palmetto Bronze Handbells. Hand bells are an old southern tradition that was used throughout the ceremony. Sweetest Blessings created a beautiful three tiered round cake which was wrapped with yellow, navy blue, light blue, and white stripes. Decor included lanterns with candles and small flowers inside. The picnic tables were dressed up for the occasion with a navy tablecloth and a burlap runner with a “B” inscribed on the ends.
High school sweethearts Katie and Damon wanted a simple, yet formal southern wedding. The groom is a graduate of the Citadel and so the bride incorporated many military traditions into their wedding, including a sword arch following the ceremony and the cut the wedding cake with a military saber. Beth at Wildflowers, Inc created beautiful arrangements to match Katie’s colors of purple, silver and orange. The ceremony was held at Summerall Chapel, with the reception at the Citadel Alumni Center. The brides dress was from New York Bride and Groom and Ashley Bakery prepared a beautiful cake for the occasion.
Chicago couple Nicole and Josh met about three years ago it was not quite love at first sight. After six months of seeing each other at the same bar every Tuesday night, Easy Bar, Josh finally got the nerve up to talk to Nicole. The couple were married at The Citadel Summerall Chapel and the reception was held at Folly Beach Shrimp Co, on Folly Beach. Wildflowers came up with beautiful pink and white garden roses for the bouquet and boutonnieres. Ashley Bakery provided a simple two layered white cake and Folly Beach Shrimp Co., provided delicious lowcountry favorites for dinner!
