Kendra and Matt were married at Mepkin Abbey with a reception at Old Santee Canal State Park. They had a wedding that reminded me of a southern, vintage, tea party! Each table was accented with a cake, to remind guests that Life and Love is Sweet, and they wanted guests to go home with a little something sweet. Kendra and Matt had a beautiful day and they got to be married under the sun in the state they love so much! Congratulations you two! 
Taylor is from North Carolina and Robbie is from Georgia, but the couple met right here in South Carolina which is why they decided to get married here! Robbie is a graduate of the Citadel and Summerall Chapel and Holliday Alumni Center were the perfect settings their wedding day! Taylor showed her love for monograms throughout the day, and her dad is a retired Naval Officer so she was delighted to see both her favorite men in uniform. In Bloom did a beautiful job with the flowers and decorations, and what an awesome Reese Cup grooms cake from Sablee Patisserie & Chocolaterie. Rachel and Jack had a beautiful outdoors wedding at the William Aiken House, followed by a tented reception after the ceremony. The groom and his groomsmen showed off their love for superheros with their awesome socks, while the bride had a beautiful strapless gown. We had a great day celebrating with these two and wish them many years of happiness! 
It was a very windy downtown, but James was still able to capture some amazing photos of Jessica and Scott! We are looking forward to being apart of there special day! 
Rebecca and Thomas had a traditional wedding ceremony, followed by a reception at Boone Hall Plantation in March. Bridal House of Charleston helped Rebecca to pick out an amazing two-piece off the shoulder dress. Holly with A Charleston Event coordinated the day, while Keepsake Florist did a great job with flowers and decorations. Rebecca and Thomas were met outside of St. John’s Lutheran Church with a horse and carriage from Palmetto Carriage Works. Hollydawn and Chris had engagement photos taken downtown by Wanda. It was a beautiful day in March despite the wind. We are so excited to be apart of Hollydawn and Chris’s day next week! Congrats you two! 
I know it is not quite fall yet, but I thought I would share some beautiful Fall Engagement pictures from Octavia and Keron’s shoot. They were taken downtown, and the couple really wanted to show off the beautiful scenery of Charleston. Hopefully some cooler weather is on the way, Enjoy! 
Jonathan and Sarah had an intimate wedding at Magnolia Plantation, where they wanted to show of the South to guests who were coming from Seattle. Sarah used chalkboards and moss to help pull off the southern feel of the day. Hamby Catering helped with the decorations and also made sure the guests got to try some fried green tomatoes while here, you can’t visit Charleston without having tried them! Cakes by Kasarda did a great job with a Peach themed cake to off the Georgia roots the couple will be planting after the wedding! Today’s wedding is one that I just love! Venice and Lucio met in college and their wedding shows off 100% their personalities and why they are so perfect for one another. Starting with a love for all things Bolt, they had their Bolt stuffed animals act as ring bearers for the ceremony. Even better, Venice’s bouquet was made out of sheet music from Frozen. Venice and Lucio sang there vows to one another, yes they are multi-talented because they also had a choreographed dance for the first dance! Octavia and Keron were married in May at The Sand Dunes Club on Sullivan’s Island. Duvall Catering, Epic Charleston, Little Bird Events, and Baby Faces of Charleston all helped make this day special for Octavia. Octavia had a pink day, and we are so glad that we got to be apart of it!
