Marni and Niko met in  Stuttgart, Germany and got married in Charleston, Marni’s hometown.  The ceremony was at St. Luke’s Chapel, with a reception at The American Theater.  The American Theater is a Charleston venue downtown that is great for couple looking for a modern twist on a vintage Charleston wedding.  Frederick’s Florist did beautiful flower arrangements for the ceremony and reception with rentals by Snyder Events.  Paper Dolls and Gown Boutique of Charleston created a comfortable, elegant look for Marni.   Marni and Niko love to travel and are from different countries so they went with a travel theme for the day with little accents from the movie Up!batterycharleston brideandgroomfredericksfloristgownboutiquegownboutiqueofchs groomrings snyderevents stlukesmallari-0365mallari-0390-Bmallari-0430mallari-0439mallari-0922stlukeswedding theamericantheaterrbpwedding

Kristina and Bryan

Kristina and Bryan met while attending the University of Rhode Island and had an activity filled wedding!  Kristina wanted to keep the day to a natural feel, and make sure all guest had a great time.  They had bocci ball, corn hole, cigar rolling, a smores station, and of course, lots of dancing!  The wedding was at Magnolia Plantation, such a beautiful venue all year around, and Beth from Wildflowers Inc did such a great job coordinating, designing, and providing the flowers for the day.  The carriage house looked whimsical with the greens hanging from the ceiling and the beautiful lights that were hung. The couple was married by Wedding Minister in Charleston under a tent from Event Haus.  After the ceremony guests ate delicious meals from Cru Catering and had apple pie and pecan pie for dessert.  The teams at Vanity Salon and Gown Boutique of Charleston had Kristina looking gorgeous as she walked down the isle to her groom.   The couple left the party as husband and wife in a classic white car from Lowcountry Valet and Shuttle.

Ginny and Todd

Ginny’s vision for her big day was a winter wedding with classy, southern charm and lots of candle light for a warm, cozy feeling. She chose black bridesmaids dresses and a classic black tux with bow tie for the groomsman.  Ginny had the talented team from Salon Capelli do a great job showing off her beautiful green eyes and long blonde hair.  The ladies had Gown Boutique of Charleston had Todd in tears when she walked down the isle in her beautiful gown.  For flowers, Ginny wanted to have whites with just little springs of green to contrast the bridesmaids black dresses and also to fit in with the winter theme. Country and Lace Florist did a great job pulling together Ginny’s vision and coordinating the event.  Following the ceremony, a bagpiper played filling the streets with the happy announcement of a new marriage. Walking over to the Mills House from the French Huguenot Church, the bridesmaids carried candles for a very festive touch. Ginny also choose lots of silver and gold for a touch of sparkle that added to the elegant feel. Immaculate Confections designed and baked a  beautiful cake for guests to enjoy.  Both Ginny and Todd agreed that they wanted their wedding to be FUN! So they decided to have a great band, Momentum, at the reception to keep the reception upbeat and lively! Ginny wore her grandmothers’ fur stole to the reception and her bridesmaids wore monogrammed wraps. Their big leave consisted of everyone throwing artificial snow to wrap up the wonderful winter wedding!

From the first time we met Malley and Austin for their engagement session it was obvious how in love this couple is! Since we had done photos of the two of them in the summer we were so looking forward to their November wedding at Middleton Place. Austin and Malley wisely chose Holly Simpson with A Charleston Event to coordinate their wedding day. Holly worked with Malley to put together a fun, relaxing and beautiful wedding. Malley was a gorgeous bride in a dress from Gown Boutique of Charleston and flowers from Keepsakes Florist. The ceremony was filled with thoughtful words and happy tears! After the ceremony was a celebration of the couples love that included Finger Snappin Entertainment, food by Middleton Place and cake from Cakes by Kasarda. It was such a joyous day for all! The happy couple danced and laughed with family and friends and ended the night with a sparkler exit and a kiss!
