Karilyn and Matt

Karilyn worked with Katie Jean Events to create a day with everything she loves:  romance, water, southern traditions, vintage, and lace!  Karilyn and Matt were married by Coastal Hospitality at The Island House in John’s Island.  Guests dined on food provided by Duvall Catering and a beautiful cake by Cakes by Kasarda.  We got to party all night with Union Road, a band out of Raleigh, NC.  Karilyn had an elegant lace dress from Gown Boutique of Charleston.  Her colors were teal and white and Katie Jean did a wonderful job setting up an amazing evening!

Mea and Clay

It was a beautiful day on John’s Island, and the perfect setting for Mea and Clay’s wedding day!  The Island House was the background for the day and Ashley Nicole Events used Mea’s colors of eggplant purple and green to accent mother nature and the flower arrangements by JW Weddings and Events.  Dodeline printing had great details on the couples invitations including a sketch of the house.  Event Haus and Innovative Event Services worked together in creating a classic atmosphere for the reception.  Guests dined on food by Hamby’s and had a sweet cake by Charleston Cakes, Etc.  After guests danced all night to EPIC Charleston the couple left in a car provided by Vintage Limo Charleston.

Katie and Aaron

Katie and Aaron said their vows at St. Luke’s Chapel followed by a beautiful reception at Harborside East. We always enjoy working with Katherine at Breeze Events and this was no exception.  She is so talented and the day went off without a hitch.  The beautiful flowers were designed and made by Branch Designs, and Duvall Events catered the event where guest munched on mac n’ cheese and biscuits.  Delicious Desserts created a beautiful cake that had a beautiful gold trim accenting the sides.  After dancing away to music from Other Brother Entertainment the couple left the reception in a black Mercedes from Tri Country Transportation.

Whitney and Christopher

Whitney and Christopher had a beautiful wedding at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church with a reception following at Patriots Point Links.  Holly at A Charleston Event did a wonderful job helping Whitney created the perfect day around her beautiful coral and navy colors.  Paper Dolls Wedding Hair and Make-Up had Whitney looking beautiful as she walked down the isle to her groom.  Classical Charleston always brings a wonderful ambiance to the wedding ceremony.  Whitney and Chris had several personal touches to the evening including:  Crab Cakes to represent Chris’s hometown, seagrass flowers to represent South Carolina, where Whitney went to college, and succulents to represent the state they live in, Arizona.  We enjoyed getting to party and dance to a new band out of North Carolina, The Band Punch.  It was a beautiful and great day had by all!

Kristina and Bryan

Kristina and Bryan met while attending the University of Rhode Island and had an activity filled wedding!  Kristina wanted to keep the day to a natural feel, and make sure all guest had a great time.  They had bocci ball, corn hole, cigar rolling, a smores station, and of course, lots of dancing!  The wedding was at Magnolia Plantation, such a beautiful venue all year around, and Beth from Wildflowers Inc did such a great job coordinating, designing, and providing the flowers for the day.  The carriage house looked whimsical with the greens hanging from the ceiling and the beautiful lights that were hung. The couple was married by Wedding Minister in Charleston under a tent from Event Haus.  After the ceremony guests ate delicious meals from Cru Catering and had apple pie and pecan pie for dessert.  The teams at Vanity Salon and Gown Boutique of Charleston had Kristina looking gorgeous as she walked down the isle to her groom.   The couple left the party as husband and wife in a classic white car from Lowcountry Valet and Shuttle.

Erin and Jeremy

Erin and Jeremy are from Virginia and had a small beach wedding in March.  The Tides Hotel at Folly Beach provided a beautiful background for a South Carolina beach.  I love that Erin wore boat shoes, and so did her bridesmaid!  Such a sweet couple we are so glad we got to spend the afternoon with you! beach beachlandscape beachpictures beachweddingceremony brideandgroom brideshoes brideunderboardwalk coupleonthebeach eveningwedding follybeach follybeachwedding follyboardwalk lighthouse lighthousewedding sperrys sunset sunsetwedding undertheboardwalk

Audrey and Thomas

It may have been a little chilly, but it was a beautiful day in Charleston for Audrey and Thomas’ wedding! The day started with Audrey being pampered by Pamela Leash on make-up and Joyous Occasions on hair. Audrey had a beautiful gown from Alexia’s Bridal located in Raleigh, North Carolina. She carried with her a fur wrap for those chilly moments throughout the day. Kendra from Weddings By Leah was so wonderful to work with and she did a great job coordinating the day. In Bloom helped decorate the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation with palmetto leaves and Helen’s Florist put together the red and white flower bouquets. Guests munched on boiled peanuts, a South Carolina favorite, from Cru Catering while dancing the night away with entertainment provided by Donnie Atwood. Audrey is a lymphoma survivor and as a gift to all of their guests, the couple made a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Tricia and Jake

Since Tricia and Jake got married on New Year’s Eve, they wanted to combine the simplicity of white flowers and neutral colors with regal deep navy blue colors and a pinch of gold to accent the joyous occasion. Looking back at photos, they wanted it to have a timeless appeal. The couple were working a Gopher hockey game together and met in the press box at Mariucci Arena. After their intimate wedding to celebrate they went to a South Carolina Stingrays hockey game before the New Year’s celebrations began. Tricia and Jake chose to elope at Magnolia Plantation because they are from Minnesota and wanted a small but romantic ceremony in a warmer climate! The most important thing to Tricia was that they create beautiful memories that they can cherish for the rest of their life together.  Country Lace and Florist did a wonderful job with her navy and white bouquet and Awesome Designs & Weddings married the special couple.

Elizabeth and Sri

Elizabeth and Sri love dark, deep colors and cooler weather so when the two became engaged they knew they wanted to get married in December.   Elizabeth is from Charleston and wanted to show off her southern style while also incorporating Sri’s Indian culture.   They had a beautiful gold mandap for their ceremony with red and white roses.  They had a two day celebration starting with a ceremony at The Rice Mill Building downtown.  It was important for Elizabeth and Sri to have support from their families which is why they wanted a small  intimate ceremony.  The next day there was a huge party at the The Country Club of Charleston, with decorations by Frampton Flowers, which held a special place in Elizabeth’s heart because it is where her grandparents would take her as a child.
