Kelly and Andrew

Kelly and Andrew met through a kickball league, where Andrew was the coach. The two both enjoy going to see live music as well as enjoying a nice meal trying new foods together. For their big day these lovebirds wanted a classy and stylish theme, but it was also important to them that their guests felt comfortable and enjoyed themselves! Not stuffy, but fun with lots of dancing! With lots of gorgeous touches it was the perfect celebration of this sweet couple! Wedding by Nathan Bell of Richard Bell Photography

Marni and Niko

Marni and Niko met in  Stuttgart, Germany and got married in Charleston, Marni’s hometown.  The ceremony was at St. Luke’s Chapel, with a reception at The American Theater.  The American Theater is a Charleston venue downtown that is great for couple looking for a modern twist on a vintage Charleston wedding.  Frederick’s Florist did beautiful flower arrangements for the ceremony and reception with rentals by Snyder Events.  Paper Dolls and Gown Boutique of Charleston created a comfortable, elegant look for Marni.   Marni and Niko love to travel and are from different countries so they went with a travel theme for the day with little accents from the movie Up!batterycharleston brideandgroomfredericksfloristgownboutiquegownboutiqueofchs groomrings snyderevents stlukesmallari-0365mallari-0390-Bmallari-0430mallari-0439mallari-0922stlukeswedding theamericantheaterrbpwedding

Katie and Aaron

Katie and Aaron said their vows at St. Luke’s Chapel followed by a beautiful reception at Harborside East. We always enjoy working with Katherine at Breeze Events and this was no exception.  She is so talented and the day went off without a hitch.  The beautiful flowers were designed and made by Branch Designs, and Duvall Events catered the event where guest munched on mac n’ cheese and biscuits.  Delicious Desserts created a beautiful cake that had a beautiful gold trim accenting the sides.  After dancing away to music from Other Brother Entertainment the couple left the reception in a black Mercedes from Tri Country Transportation.

Rachel & Robert

Rachel and Robert both went to the University of Georgia, but met in Charleston during Spring Break.  They were married at St. Luke’s Chapel and had the reception at the Thomas Bennett house.  Rachel did not have a “vision” for the day, but used natural colors like green and white to make the occasion perfect.  The flower lamps made by a family friend were just amazing and added such a great accent to the reception.  Rachel’s dress is from Modern Trousseau in Charleston, and she looked stunning in it.  We are so glad we got to see this sweet couple tie the knot!  Rachel and Robert were also featured on Borrowed and Blue and you can check it out here!reeve-0133 reeve-0140 reeve-0225 reeve-0321 reeve-0440 reeve-0445 reeve-0556 reeve-0888 reeve-0922 reeve-0924 reeve-0926

Michelle & Josh

Michelle and Josh started their wedding weekend with a rehearsal dinner at Five Loaves downtown and the following day got married at St. Luke’s Chapel followed by a reception at Magnolia Plantation.   Michelle worked with Sweetgrass Events, EventWorks, Sara York Grimshaw Florist, Ashley Bakery, and Paper Dolls Wedding Hair and Make-Up to make her wedding perfect.  Michelle picked her flowers and cake and from there let the professionals take over to complete the look of the day.  And we just loved the vintage white Bentley the couple used throughout the day.  roe-0121 roe-0123 roe-0263 roe-0287 roe-0555 roe-0590 roe-0595 roe-0679 roe-1155 roe-1240 roe-1247

Adrienne and Richard’s Southern Wedding

Adrienne and Richard were married in September at St. Luke’s Chapel and the reception being held at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina.  After falling in love on the dance floor but having a long distance relationship Adrienne and Richard wanted to have a travel themed wedding.  They choose South Carolina so guests could have a taste of the South.  Adrienne wore a Winnie Couture gown and her hair and make-up was done by Jennifer at Charleston Event Hair and Make-Up.  The colors were wisteria, eggplant, and meadow, and the couple ended the night surrounded by sparklers.
