Taylor and Robby met through friends about four years ago. He is a current South Carolina National Guard member, and Taylor loves to sing opera! They were married this past weekend and we are so excited we got to be apart of their wedding! Congrats you two!
Jolie and Andrew were married at Lowndes Grove, and what a gorgeous day it was. Jolie and Andrew are from Colorado and had family coming to Charleston from Alabama, Texas, and Colorado. Andrew is a champion ferrier and Jolie is currently in pursuit of becoming a pharmacists. Jolie wanted a simple rustic wedding with an awesome party to celebrate afterwards. Patrick Properties did a wonderful job creating this wonderful event, Snyder Event Rentals and Technical Event Company helped make Lowndes Grove a beautiful outdoor venue. Jolie and Andrew left the party on a rickshaw while guests waved sparklers. What a fun couple, we hope they come back to visit us soon!
Jennifer and Derek had a small intimate wedding at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. They are from New York and we were so excited to be apart of there southern wedding at the beach. Even in November, Charleston is a beautiful place to get married. Cakes by Kasarda created a beautiful beach themed wedding cake that was accented with seashells.
A blind date in 2010 is how this adorable couple got started! Becky picked Thomas up from the Citadel and the rest is history. They had engagement photos taken at Boone Hall, and this will also be the location of their wedding reception on Saturday. We are looking forward to spending the day with you two!
For Shelley and Kyle’s November wedding Mell traveled to Georgetown, South Carolina. The wedding and reception were held at Debordieu Colony. They wanted a simple wedding that brought out all the fall colors of the location. Mell captured a sweet moment with the bride and flower girl looking at her wedding dress. We were so excited to get to know this special couple and be apart of there special day!
Mell did a sunrise engagement session at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens for Jayme and David. This is a creative idea and we can’t wait for their wedding in just a ten days!

Abbie’s Bakery incorporated edible purple butterflies into the wedding cake and Hood’s Florist provided beautiful purple and white roses for the bouquets. The bride and her mother also played a huge role at the reception, they made all the decorations themselves!
There is nothing more handsome than a man in uniform! The best thing about Amy and John’s wedding was seeing the love they share for each other, it was beautiful! Amy and John were married on October 13 (Happy Birthday Navy!) on the USS Yorktown in Charleston, SC. Blanche Darby provided beautiful pink flowers for the ceremony, (the brides favorite color!), and Shortcakes made a Pineapple Fountain wedding cake since that is the couples favorite landmark in Charleston. Thank You John for your service to our country!

Holly and Nathan had a very beautiful wedding at the Church of the Holy Cross with a reception at the Citadel Beach house following the ceremony. The bride and an absolutely breath taking gown that covered her back with lace and had beautiful gathered ruching. Family is so important to Holly and Nathan and they incorporated family in every aspect that the could, the grooms grandmother even led a Flash Mob at the reception!
