April and Patrick met through friends and their mutual for music quickly brought the two together! This awesome couple picked so many gorgeous and personal details for their day. Kristi and Jordan met online and felt an instant connection! The two fell in love and when they got engaged they knew they wanted a Charleston wedding after vacationing here together. Kristin and Jeb met by chance at a giant St. Patrick’s day celebration in Savannah, GA. Jeb lived in Charleston and Kristin lived in South Florida, but that didn’t stop the two from getting to know each other and falling in love! It wasn’t long before Kristin decided to move to Charleston and the two have been busy at the beach, playing on sports teams together and traveling around the country visiting family ever since! The two decided to get married at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina which boasts a gorgeous ocean view as well as all of the benefits that the resort offers. The day was full of family and fun!

Hillary and Lee were married at Boone Hall Plantation on Valentine’s Day. Stephanie from Sweetgrass Events worked with Hillary on designing a day where there was a basic color scheme and the bridal party got to pick their look so they could be comfortable and ready to party! She had a beautiful jeweled flower bouquet. The couple are huge South Carolina Gamecocks fan and Cocky showed up at the reception and dancing the night away with entertainment from Other Brother Entertainment! Cru Catering had guests’ mouth watering with delicious food and Sablee Patisserie and Chocolaterie designed a beautiful three layered purple ombre cake with a Reese Peanut Butter Cup groom’s cake for the chocolate peanut butter lovers. Event Haus provided rentals for the day and Hillary looked her best thanks to Ash & Co. Bridal Hair.
Kelly and Brian had a classic wedding ceremony at St Benedict Church in Mt Pleasant. Their friends and family then all gathered at Alhambra Hall for festivities! Kelly looked amazing with a dress from White on Daniel Island and Hair and Make-Up by Carrie at Paper Dolls Wedding Hair and Make-Up. Guests enjoyed food from Hamby Catering and a good time thanks to music from Other Brother Entertainment. With good food, good music and beautiful details by JVM Events everywhere you looked, it was a wedding no guest will soon forget!
Emily and William had a sweet October wedding at The Island House. Thanks to gorgeous Charleston weather the flowers at the Island house were blooming beautifully still! The ceremony over looked the water where the bride and groom exchanged endearing vows. After an intimate ceremony the party began. Delicious food was prepared by Three Little Birds and guests enjoyed cupcakes from Butter Cupcakes. Everyone danced the night away thanks to the music provided by Other Brother Entertainment. It was a lovely time had by all!
Cameron and Kaleb had a traditional wedding at James Island Presbyterian in March. Cameron’s beautiful dress is from Modern Trousseau, and Paper Dolls Wedding Hair and Make-Up worked with Cameron to make sure she looked perfect on her special day! Country & Lace provided the beautiful bouquets and centerpieces, while The Cake Stand created an incredible cake. After the ceremony guests traveled to The Francis Marion Hotel were they ate and danced all night to a band from Other Brother Entertainment. In between the ceremony and reception Wanda was able to sneak away with the couple to get some amazing cobblestone street pictures downtown. We are so happy we got to apart of such a special day! Katie and Chris had a stunning wedding at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. Duvall Catering and Event Design along with Branch Designs did a wonderful job pulling off a garden party meets backyard BBQ for this outdoor wedding. The flowers that were used throughout the ceremony and reception were right out of a dream. She used many colors including: pink, orange, yellow, purple, and green. Her shoes were even floral decorated! Lauren at the Cake Stand created a round tiered cake with bright pink camellias that also showed off the brides bubbly personality. The cake even featured two love birds on the top layer under the flowers. Katie’s ball gown styled dress came from Wedding Row, in Downtown Charleston. Katie also wore her grandmother’s green cocktail ring which matched her teardrop earrings. Other Brother Entertainment provided a live band for guests to party and dance to all night. A white limo from ACW Limo Service awaited the bride and groom as they were sent off with sparklers.
Ashleigh and Eric wanted a romantic wedding with a touch of the south. They choose Patriots Point for the fantastic view and to help make their vision come true, Roxanne at Marry Me Weddings used white with hints of peach and burlap. The flowers for the ceremony and reception were provided by Branch Studio Designs with white hydrangeas, pink roses, and lots of babies breath. The brides gown from Global Bridal Gallery in Alexandria, Virginia was a fitted one shoulder lace dress which was embellished with a belted pearl tie around the middle. Lacy at Relish Distinctive Catering came up with a delicious menu of crab cakes, shrimp & grits, and hush puppies. For dessert, everyone was able to enjoying a little bit of everything from traditional wedding cake to whoopie pies to mini pecan pies from P.I.E Bake Shoppe. Other Brother Entertainment provided a band for the entertainment and the bride and groom were whisked away in a black cab provided Black Cab Company at the end of the evening.
