Jessica and Ian fell in love and planned a fun wedding celebration that would bring all of their guests to beautiful Charleston! Unfortunately the 1000 year storm threw a curve ball with the weather! But after days of rain it finally stopped on the night of Jessica and Ian’s wedding! Although it made travel for their guests a bit tricky, their friends and family were happy to be there to witness the love that this sweet couple shares! It was a gorgeous day!

Sutton and Patrick

When Sutton and Patrick decided to get married, Charleston was the obvious choice! The two met in Charleston and fell in love here. After choosing the Historic Rice Mill it was easy to see the natural beauty of the venue and go with a minimal rustic theme. The venue was decorated with flickering candles and fresh flowers, all following the color theme of navy, gold and blush. The two wanted wedding to be a huge celebration and to be fun, so they placed games just outside of the bar for a guests to play, a life sized jenga set and a corn hole set and of course, glow sticks on the dance floor!

Jenna and Michael had such a perfect and amazing wedding day! The ceremony was romantic and sweet! After the two said their vows and the newlyweds and their guests boarded the Carolina Queen for a fun cocktail hour. The Rice Mill then served as the perfect venue for an elegant celebration of the love that Jenna and Michael share.

Laura and Lance

Laura and Lance met at a wedding they attended for mutual friends. After meeting and falling in love the two decided they wanted to get married in the city that they have been vacationing at for the last few years together. They wanted their day to include their love of travel as well as the people closest in their lives to celebrate their new marriage! The ceremony and reception were at the Historic Rice Mill in downtown Charleston- a venue that boasts waterfront views as well as old Charleston charm. The two had a sweet ceremony followed by a night of dancing and fun!

Mandi and Matt

Mandi and Matt wanted a day were everyone had a great time partying and dancing! Harborside East is a great venue with breathtaking views of the Cooper River Bridge.  The lovely Cindy at Engaging Events planned a beautiful day with purples, pinks, and yellows.  Rentals from Event Works made a perfect accents to the evening.  Guests dined with entrees by Good Food Catering and a delicious cake by Elain’s Events.  The ceremony was performed by Christy Loftin Events and Vanity Salon had Mandi looking awesome!

Brittany and Roberts Southern Art Deco Wedding

Lori and Chris’ Elegant Boone Hall Wedding

Lori and Chris wanted a classic, elegant wedding that really highlighted vintage Boone Hall Plantation.  Everything from the cotton boutineers to the mason jars showed off a rustic yet sophisticated look that outlined the huge Oak Trees at the entrance to Boone Hall.  Wedding hair was by Carrie at Paper Dolls Wedding Hair & Make-Up.  Modern Trousseau helped Lori pick out her beautiful mermaid style gown.  Stephanie at Sweetgrass Events and Tiger Lily florist created a beautiful reception that used silvers, ivories, and pops of purple throughout.  Old photos of the bride and groom were displayed in old rustic frames and hung up to show off the bride and grooms personal style.  Lace and burlap were a staple as decorating pieces to pay respect to the South!  Many of the decorations were handcrafted by the mother of the bride.  Good Food Catering brought southern favorites for guests to dine on.  Entertainment by DJ Mateo Jones had guests dancing all night.  Cakes by Kasarda created a beautiful four tiered white cake that featured cascading purple flowers.  To end the evening the bride and groom were showered with lavender, cheers, and tears!
