CJ and Justin met randomly- being at the right place at the right time as Justin says! The two had in instant connection and thanks to CJ’s outgoing personality the rest is history! For their big day CJ and Justin wanted a serious party that had personal touches everywhere making it a very special celebration. Besides the awesome food stations and the animals at the tables instead of numbers, the dancing was the highlight of the night! The party was a complete success, a great time had by the newlyweds as well as their guests!

Ellen and Aaron live in and love Charleston! When they were making decisions about their wedding it was important that they celebrate the place that brought them together and where they will be putting down roots as a family together. Magnolia Plantation was the perfect venue for them and from there the details they decided on were sweet colors and rustic accents. Lily and Roy met at a Charleston favorite- Sunday Brunch! The two fell in love and wanted their wedding to be simple but also classy- with Charleston charm. Lily picked a gorgeous dress that was perfect for the day and for dancing, as well as flower arrangements that featured gorgeous lavender- including her flower crown!After the rain the day the was gorgeous and the bride and groom danced the night away!

Alex is a hopeless romantic at heart! Throughout the planning process she wanted to make her and Michael’s wedding feel elegant, dreamy romantic, and have a touch of southern flair. It was also important that above everything it was still personalized to their love and relationship. Because Alex loves to read they incorporated that into the seating. Each table was named after a famous literary couple and also had a quote from their story that described their relationship. Alex and Michael’s table was named after them and since we didn’t get a chance to say our own vows they wrote them together for their table! Michael has a shot glass collection that he is quite proud of so for favors they decided to create custom shot glasses. Finally the fun couple are both kids at heart so they were excited to give the guests a chance to take silly pictures and enjoy the photo booth and great dance music!

Krystle and Adam met at work and we’re friends for a whole year before they started dating! The two wanted a comfortable and southern feel for their wedding. For their colors they wanted romantic and sweet- pinks, gold and cream. It was a beautiful day for this sweet couple!

Stephanie and Seth met in one of the most random and surprising ways….Seth showed up to Stephanie’s house to install the cable and the rest is history! When the two started planning their wedding they wanted to keep things simple, sweet, fun and southern. Their day was filled with just that! Since this was a destination wedding, Meagan and Jacob really wanted to show their guests some of the reasons we love visiting the Charleston area. The Pavilion at Pepper Plantation gave us the perfect backdrop for rustic look we wanted. Meagan chose Khaki and Blush for the wedding colors, to keep it soft and romantic. The couple wanted to give guests a little goodie bag of treats from the Charleston area. The goodie bags included Charleston Chews, Moon Pies, Lobster suckers, Post Cards, Koozies, and Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka! It was a fun time for the kids and adults alike!

Andrea and Jim had a romantic October wedding at beautiful Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. With the bride dressed in a gorgeous gown from Dressed to the Nine’s and flowers in shades of violet and lavender from WildFlowers Inc, this truly was a magical day! The ceremony displayed all of the beauty of Magnolia Plantation in the fall. After the sweet vows were said, the celebration was in full swing! DeClare Cakes created a lovely “naked cake” with a simple and tasty elegance that everyone enjoyed. After enjoying a delicious spread provided by Cru Catering the newlyweds danced the night away with guests thanks to Kings Entertainment SC. It was a wedding filled with sweet moments and fun memories!
Rachel and Tony were married in August at St. Benedict Catholic Church with a reception following at Harborside East. With help from Duvall Events, DeClare Cakes, and Gown Boutique of Charleston Rachel had a beautiful wedding day. After the ceremony, Nathan stopped downtown and got some great shots of the couple at the Cistern on College of Charleston’s campus. Harborside East is an overlooked venue in Mount Pleasant that has breathtaking views of the Cooper River Bridge. Thanks guys for letting us be apart of your day!
