Svetlana & Jason’s Island House Wedding

It was a day of crazy weather. But thankfully, we had enough breaks and they were perfectly timed so we were able to get lots of great photos! I love these guys and their story. They’ve been together since high school and been apart for a long time through college. So excited to see them start their life together!

Sarah & Will’s Wedding at First Baptist Church and Reception at Alhambra Hall

Sarah and Will’s parents knew each other before Sarah & Will were born. They attended the same church growing up, fell in love and now are MARRIED!!!

Wedding and Reception at Johns Islands gem… The Island House

The Island House is a great location for a wedding because it has so much to offer. It’s on the water, has room to great ready, a couple of flower fields, even a salt flat! While we were hoping one of the fields of flowers would be in bloom, we got the corn field instead! I just love the photos we were able to take there. Whitney and Andrew were so adorable! Enjoy their preview!

Wedding at the beautiful Creek Club at I’on

Elena and Bryan met while attending the College of Charleston and they both love Charleston. After they were engaged they decided they wanted a destination wedding here. Creek Club at I’on was a wonderful choice for their intimate, beautifully decorated wedding. The weather even cooperated with rain started just after they said their vows and had walked back down the aisle. We were even able to get some gorgeous shots of the cloudy night sky!

Charleston Wedding Photography – Megan and Ryan at Summerall Chapel and the Creek Club at I’On

It was raining, and at times it was pouring. But the rain didn’t ruin the celebration of Megan and Ryan’s wedding at the Citadel. These two are so well matched and into each other that it was hard to stop taking photos of the two of them. I’m so thankful that they allowed me to play a part, and they were such good sports to go out at night in the rain to get one of my favorite photos of them on the dock at the Creek Club at I’On.

Charleston Wedding Photography -Gina and Matt’s Rustic Wedding at Boone Hall Plantation

Gina and Matt planned a laid back but elegant rustic wedding at the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation. Ducks were part of the theme, yes, I said ducks. So guests were seated at tables after our feathered friends like Mallard, Wood Duck, etc.

Gina and Matt wore cowboy boots, and Gina even sported green nail polish to incorporate the theme. Tiger Lily Weddings provided the flowers and coordination, which made everything beautiful and go so smoothly.

Charleston Wedding Photography -Laura and Rob’s Winter Wedding at Creek Club at I’On

Laura and Rob had a cold but beautiful wedding on the lawn at Creek Club at I’On overlooking the marsh. Thankfully, the Creek Club had a nice fire going on the veranda to keep everyone warm and cozy.

Then, just before they were to be announced into their reception, Rob had an allergic reaction and was transported to the hospital. Both he and Laura were still in good spirits though, and I followed them to the ER. He was ok, but the hospital decided it was best to keep him for a few hours. He missed the reception, but he sent Laura back to dance with her dad and conclude the evening.

The next day, they had a brunch reception for Laura and Rob to cut their cake and celebrate. You gotta love that Laura’s Italian family pulled an all nighter to make this happen. And they lived happily, ever after….

Wedding at St. Luke’s Chapel and Reception at the Wickliffe House in Charleston, SC

I had the pleasure, again, of second shooting for Valerie Schooling a couple weeks ago.    Brennan and Brad were married at St. Luke’s Chapel on MUSC campus, and had their reception across the street at the Wickliffe House (with amazing catering by Mediterra).   Candice at Yoj Events provided flawless and thoughtful coordination.  As always, ECBC church family weddings are always so fun and so sweet.

Bride’s response to seeing her wedding album and surprises for the first time

Matt was so kind to share this video of his very excited wife seeing her wedding album and surprises from our studio for the first time.  This video is almost as good as being there.  Thank you Lauren and Matt!!! You two rock!
