Whitney and Christopher
/in Wedding/by adminWhitney and Christopher had a beautiful wedding at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church with a reception following at Patriots Point Links. Holly at A Charleston Event did a wonderful job helping Whitney created the perfect day around her beautiful coral and navy colors. Paper Dolls Wedding Hair and Make-Up had Whitney looking beautiful as she walked down the isle to her groom. Classical Charleston always brings a wonderful ambiance to the wedding ceremony. Whitney and Chris had several personal touches to the evening including: Crab Cakes to represent Chris’s hometown, seagrass flowers to represent South Carolina, where Whitney went to college, and succulents to represent the state they live in, Arizona. We enjoyed getting to party and dance to a new band out of North Carolina, The Band Punch. It was a beautiful and great day had by all!

Mell is so excited for their upcoming wedding at Stella Maris Catholic Church and Alhambra Hall. Here are some pictures from their engagement session at the Pit Street Pier, a favorite place for Jenna and Joshua and also where Joshua proposed!
Mandi and Matt are Engaged!
/in Engagement/by adminMell had a wonderful afternoon downtown getting to know Mandi and Matt. It was love at first site when Mell noticed they were all wearing flip flops and got to share their love for the shoe. They started off with drinks at Leaf and then had a beautiful afternoon downtown to capture in their engagement excitement! We are looking forward to this sweet couples wedding and to see what Cindy at Engaging Events has put together for them!
Tori & Ryan
/in Wedding/by adminBoth Ryan and Tori grew up in Greenville, and attended the University of South Carolina. However, they did not meet until they both moved to Charleston and were introduced by mutual friends. Tori wanted an outdoor plantation wedding, and Magnolia Plantation was the perfect venue for her. Pure Luxe did a wonderful job coordinating the event, and Snyder Events provided all the rentals. Carrie at Paper Dolls did an amazing job to make sure Tori looked stunning on her special day. The bride and groom had white umbrellas set out around outside so guests could keep cool in the July sun. Congratulations Tori and Ryan! Tori and Ryan’s wedding was also featured in Savvy Deets Bridal and you can check it out here!
Laurette & Bob
/in Wedding/by adminLaurette and Bob wanted a fun, laid back wedding ceremony and a huge party afterwards to celebrate their love! Boone Hall Plantation was the setting for this special day and the wonderful staff from MOSAIC did a fantastic job designing, coordinating, and catering the event. I love the outdoor tea party feel that the day had. Blue Plant Green Events provided beautiful colorful flowers, and as an added bonus, Coastal Crust was there so guests could munch on pizza throughout the night. Congrats Laurette and Bob, we are so glad we got to be apart of your fun day~
Claire & Ryan
/in Wedding/by adminClaire and Ryan had a destination wedding at Magnolia Plantation in June, and nothing could rain on their parade. Cru Catering showcased many southern favorite such as shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles. Claire and Ryan wanted to keep with the natural beauty of Magnolia and keep the color scheme simple with tans, creams, and pale yellows. JW Weddings did a great job putting together the floral arrangements, and Lashes & Lace made the bride stunning on her day! Congrats to Claire and Ryan!
Rebecca and Thomas at Boone Hall Plantation
/in Wedding/by adminRebecca and Thomas had a traditional wedding ceremony, followed by a reception at Boone Hall Plantation in March. Bridal House of Charleston helped Rebecca to pick out an amazing two-piece off the shoulder dress. Holly with A Charleston Event coordinated the day, while Keepsake Florist did a great job with flowers and decorations. Rebecca and Thomas were met outside of St. John’s Lutheran Church with a horse and carriage from Palmetto Carriage Works. Borrowed and Blue featured Rebecca and Thomas’ wedding, and you can check it out here: http://www.borrowedandblue.com/charleston/weddings/rebecca-thomas.
Venice & Lucio’s Creative Garden Wedding
/in Wedding/by adminToday’s wedding is one that I just love! Venice and Lucio met in college and their wedding shows off 100% their personalities and why they are so perfect for one another. Starting with a love for all things Bolt, they had their Bolt stuffed animals act as ring bearers for the ceremony. Even better, Venice’s bouquet was made out of sheet music from Frozen. Venice and Lucio sang there vows to one another, yes they are multi-talented because they also had a choreographed dance for the first dance! We are so glad we got to know them, and what a great day to be apart of! This wedding was also published on Poptastic Bride, and you can check it out here!
Nicole & Justin at Magnolia Plantation
/in weddings/by admin
Nicole’s vision for her wedding was an outdoor garden wedding in the south, and Magnolia Plantation was the perfect venue for her special day! We got to work with some AMAZING vendors for Nicole and Justin’s wedding including Morgan Gallo Events, Charleston Bakery, Branch Design Studio, All About You Entertainment, Event Drs, Paper Dolls, and Crazy Dutchman Catering. Nicole used plum, teal, and natural greenery throughout the day. So glad we got to be apart of their special day, and what a beautiful day it was! Congrats you two!
