Megan and Ben

Megan and Ben wanted to have a laid back, low country chic wedding, incorporating some of the elements that they love about Charleston. The two love to travel, and with Charleston being their favorite city, the two wanted their guests to feel like they had a Charleston experience. When it came to colors, flowers and details the key was elegant, but not over the top fancy! With a cookie bar, southern comfort food and “make your own tea” mason jar favors the wedding was the perfect combo of the comfort of Charleston as well as the elegance.

Brandy & Dug

Brandy and Dug grew up in the same town in Illinois, but it took Dug 20 years to ask Brandy out, and we were honored to be apart of their special day.  The couple loves the travel and they were so excited to have family come from 16 hours away to be here!  Branch Design Studio designed some amazing green boutiques for the bride, and Katherine at Breeze helped make this day memorable for everyone.   Project Wedding featured Bandy and Dug recently and you can check it out here! holmes-0008 holmes-0034 holmes-0098 holmes-0116 holmes-0149 holmes-0283 holmes-0444 holmes-0452 holmes-0454 holmes-0477 holmes-0573 holmes-0576 holmes-0578

A Garden Party Wedding.

Katie and Chris had a stunning wedding at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens.  Duvall Catering and Event Design along with Branch Designs did a wonderful job pulling off a garden party meets backyard BBQ for this outdoor wedding.   The flowers that were used throughout the ceremony and reception were right out of a dream.  She used many colors including:  pink, orange, yellow, purple, and green.  Her shoes were even floral decorated!  Lauren at the Cake Stand created a round tiered cake with bright pink camellias that also showed off the brides bubbly personality.  The cake even featured two love birds on the top layer under the flowers. Katie’s ball gown styled dress came from Wedding Row, in Downtown Charleston.  Katie also wore her grandmother’s green cocktail ring which matched her teardrop earrings.  Other Brother Entertainment provided a live band for guests to party and dance to all night.  A white limo from ACW Limo Service awaited the bride and groom as they were sent off with sparklers.
