Shelby and Matt wanted their wedding to be simple and elegant. The two chose gold as their main color focused everything around that. The two chose the Francis Marion because it was close to Grace Episcopal Church and easy for out of town guests to travel back and forth. Matt was born and raised in Charleston and he loves palmetto roses so the two decided to incorporate them into her bouquet and into to the groomsmen boutonnieres. It was a great celebration!

Alex and Michael

Alex is a hopeless romantic at heart! Throughout the planning process she wanted to make her and Michael’s wedding feel elegant, dreamy romantic, and have a touch of southern flair. It was also important that above everything it was still personalized to their love and relationship. Because Alex loves to read they incorporated that into the seating. Each table was named after a famous literary couple and also had a quote from their story that described their relationship. Alex and Michael’s table was named after them and since we didn’t get a chance to say our own vows they wrote them together for their table! Michael has a shot glass collection that he is quite proud of so for favors they decided to create custom shot glasses. Finally the fun couple are both kids at heart so they were excited to give the guests a chance to take silly pictures and enjoy the photo booth and great dance music!

Anna and Wren

Anna and Wren wanted a traditional church ceremony followed by a Lowcountry celebration! The two said their vows at The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer that boasted stained glass as well as breath taking red doors. The party started at the Creek Club at I’on and featured oysters and dancing!

Jenna and Joshua

The theme for Jenna and Joshua’s wedding was all things Lowcountry! The two love the Charleston area and wanted the details of their wedding to pay tribute to that. With a wedding ceremony in the church Jenna grew up attending and the reception at beautiful Alhambra Hall it was a day celebrating the simple beauty of the love Jenna and Joshua share as well as southern charm.

Sarah and Chris

Sarah and Chris had a beautiful, traditional wedding- complete with a Catholic mass for their wedding ceremony at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. The bride and groom met their very first day of medical school and their friendship grew into a sweet romance. This couple had such a happy and sweet wedding! The reception was a joyous celebration with good food and and dancing thanks to The Francis Marion Hotel and Pinnacle Light and Sound! Congratulations to this happy couple!
