Kendra and Matt’s Mepkin Abbey Wedding

Kendra and Matt were married at Mepkin Abbey with a reception at Old Santee Canal State Park.  They had a wedding that reminded me of a southern, vintage, tea party!  Each table was accented with a cake, to remind guests that Life and Love is Sweet, and they wanted guests to go home with a little something sweet.  Kendra and Matt had a beautiful day and they got to be married under the sun in the state they love so much!  Congratulations you two!  davis-0031 davis-0299 davis-0346 davis-0422 davis-0428 davis-0452 davis-0468 davis-0473 davis-0629 davis-0687 davis-0837

Jonathan and Sarah had an intimate wedding at Magnolia Plantation, where they wanted to show of the South to guests who were coming from Seattle.  Sarah used chalkboards and moss to help pull off the southern feel of the day.  Hamby Catering helped with the decorations and also made sure the guests got to try some fried green tomatoes while here, you can’t visit Charleston without having tried them!  Cakes by Kasarda did a great job with a Peach themed cake to off the Georgia roots the couple will be planting after the wedding!   Congrats you two on a beautiful day, so glad we were apart of your day!   Jonathan and Sarah’s wedding was also published on Artfully Wed, and you can check it out here! winklund-0157 winklund-0170 winklund-0189 winklund-0266 winklund-0320 winklund-0654 winklund-0662 winklund-0701 winklund-0722 winklund-0827 winklund-0837 winklund-1092

Venice & Lucio’s Creative Garden Wedding

Today’s wedding is one that I just love!  Venice and Lucio met in college and their wedding shows off 100% their personalities and why they are so perfect for one another.  Starting with a love for all things Bolt, they had their Bolt stuffed animals act as ring bearers for the ceremony.  Even better, Venice’s bouquet was made out of sheet music from Frozen.  Venice and Lucio sang there vows to one another, yes they are multi-talented because they also had a choreographed dance for the first dance! We are so glad we got to know them, and what a great day to be apart of!  This wedding was also published on Poptastic Bride, and you can check it out here! mao-0066 mao-0149 mao-0208 mao-0263 mao-0444 mao-0452 mao-0667 mao-0920 mao-0931 mao-0944 mao-0950 mao-1029

Jennie and George’s Sassy Charleston Wedding

Jennie and George wanted an all Charleston wedding, and what an amazing job they did bringing the day all together.  From the beautiful pink bridesmaids dresses, to the exit on a boat this was an amazing wedding!  Jennie’s dress came from Gown Boutique of Charleston,  and Taylor from Ooh! Events designed the event including the flowers, the tent, and the beautiful table settings.  Jennie and George were married at Charleston’s oldest church, First Baptist Church and then  were joined with there guests at Lowndes Grove Plantation.  I loved the basket weaving details Wedding Cakes by Jim Smeal did for the cake.  This was such a fun, sassy, southern wedding to be part of!    Jennie and George’s wedding was also featured on Knot’s Villa, and you can check it out here: http://www.knotsvilla.com/southern-wedding-charleston-richard-bell-photography/cumbie-0593cumbie-0115 cumbie-0173 cumbie-0233 cumbie-0251 cumbie-0263 cumbie-0283 cumbie-0471 cumbie-0570 cumbie-0587 cumbie-0686 cumbie-0786 cumbie-1024 cumbie-1073
