Stephanie and Danny

As soon as you meet Stephanie and Danny it is clear the love that they have for each other. Both have been through past marriages and have children, so for their wedding the most important thing was that they enjoy their day of celebrating all that brought them together. The wedding colors and theme were inspired by the dress Stephanie found which is a gorgeous shade of blush! Besides the beautiful details the other important and special part of their day was having all of the children a part of everything. It was a delightful day with a sweet couple!couto-0006 couto-0058 couto-0104 couto-0110 couto-0130 couto-0134 couto-0138 couto-0145 couto-0150 couto-0157 couto-0180 couto-0242 couto-0245 couto-0247 couto-0253 couto-0255 couto-0463 couto-0645 couto-0724 couto-0807 couto-0808

Marcella and Ward

Marcella and Ward made it a point to blend the Indonesian heritage of the bride with the Carolina traditions of the groom. To accomplish this, they combined the beauty of South Carolina with Indonesian cultural influences! To kick off the wedding festivities they started off with an Oyster Roast welcome dinner overlooking the marshes of Kiawah Island. The following day was the ceremony, which was held at the cathedral of St. John the Baptist in downtown Charleston and the reception at Osprey Point Golf Club back on Kiawah Island. Marcella and Ward were inspired to incorporate a feather theme, from the various types of feathers on the bride’s wedding dress – custom designed by Maya Ratih Couture, to feathers on the cake- done by The Cake Stand.  Indonesian elements included a pre-reception tea ceremony, custom wedding toppers of the couple in traditional Indonesian garb, and kopi luwak (a rare civet coffee) for the guests! It was a gorgeous day with so many thoughtful, personal touches!

Lisa & Josh

After living in Charleston for several years, Lisa moved back to her hometown of Baltimore where she met and started dating Josh.  Lisa wanted to bring Josh to Charleston for his birthday and he fell in love with the city and the two decided they would get married at Magnolia Plantation!  Lisa and Josh were married in August, and had a beautiful rustic and southern charm wedding with help from Duvall Events.  Cakes by Kasarda made an amazing ruffled cake that was peach colored and ivory to match her color scheme.  Lashes and Lace had Lisa looking stunning on her day, and the bang Leggz kept guests partying all night!  Congrats Lisa and Jeff, we wish you many years of happiness!! rbpwedding rbpwedding-2 rbpwedding-3 rbpwedding-4 rbpwedding-5 rbpwedding-6 rbpwedding-7 rbpwedding-8 rbpwedding-9 rbpwedding-10 rbpwedding-11 rbpwedding-12

Kate & Joe

Kate and Joe met while bowling with friends, and after Joe won Kate white sunglasses from a crane machine the two fell madly in love!  Kate and Joe had a very rustic wedding at the Historic Rice Mill, where they had lots of pink, burlap, and of course cowboy boots.   Everyone had a great time partying the night away with music provided by Ascend Entertainment, and Anna Bella Floral created beautiful flower arrangements for the day.  I loved her dress, it was such a great pick that match the day and the theme perfectly!  Kate and Joe were so awesome all day despite the rain, and we are so glad we got to capture such sweet moments.  Congrats guys!   rbpwedding rbpwedding-2 rbpwedding-3 rbpwedding-4 rbpwedding-5 rbpwedding-6 rbpwedding-7 rbpwedding-8 rbpwedding-9 rbpwedding-10 rbpwedding-11 rbpwedding-12 rbpwedding-13

Tori & Nick

Tori and Nick were married at Magnolia Plantation and had lots of details that to remind the bride and groom of their grandmothers.  Each of their grandmothers picked cotton as a child and so Tori and Nick wanted to incorporate cotton into the the day.  Tori’s bridals were taken right in the middle of perfect azalea season, and Nathan captured some amazing pictures that day. And the groom is a huge golf fan, so it was fun to add a little club action to the mix! We enjoyed getting to work with Dee Barnes who did an excellent job designing, coordinating, and decorating the event. Tori and Nick had such a sweet day and I am sure her grandmother was looking down with a huge smile!
