Marni and Niko

Marni and Niko met in  Stuttgart, Germany and got married in Charleston, Marni’s hometown.  The ceremony was at St. Luke’s Chapel, with a reception at The American Theater.  The American Theater is a Charleston venue downtown that is great for couple looking for a modern twist on a vintage Charleston wedding.  Frederick’s Florist did beautiful flower arrangements for the ceremony and reception with rentals by Snyder Events.  Paper Dolls and Gown Boutique of Charleston created a comfortable, elegant look for Marni.   Marni and Niko love to travel and are from different countries so they went with a travel theme for the day with little accents from the movie Up!batterycharleston brideandgroomfredericksfloristgownboutiquegownboutiqueofchs groomrings snyderevents stlukesmallari-0365mallari-0390-Bmallari-0430mallari-0439mallari-0922stlukeswedding theamericantheaterrbpwedding

Cameron and Kaleb had a traditional wedding at James Island Presbyterian in March.  Cameron’s beautiful dress is from Modern Trousseau, and Paper Dolls Wedding Hair and Make-Up worked with Cameron to make sure she looked perfect on her special day!  Country & Lace provided the beautiful bouquets and centerpieces, while The Cake Stand created an incredible cake.  After the ceremony guests traveled to The Francis Marion Hotel were they ate and danced all night to a band from Other Brother Entertainment.    In between the ceremony and reception Wanda was able to sneak away with the couple to get some amazing cobblestone street pictures downtown.  We are so happy we got to apart of such a special day!  Cameron and Kaleb’s wedding was also featured in A Lowcountry Wedding and you can check it here: http://alowcountrywed.com/francis-marion-hotel-wedding-richard-bell-photography/                      johnson-0396johnson-0409johnson-0420johnson-0451johnson-0463johnson-0480johnson-0485johnson-0494johnson-0507johnson-0653johnson-0861johnson-0955

Lori and Chris’ Elegant Boone Hall Wedding

Lori and Chris wanted a classic, elegant wedding that really highlighted vintage Boone Hall Plantation.  Everything from the cotton boutineers to the mason jars showed off a rustic yet sophisticated look that outlined the huge Oak Trees at the entrance to Boone Hall.  Wedding hair was by Carrie at Paper Dolls Wedding Hair & Make-Up.  Modern Trousseau helped Lori pick out her beautiful mermaid style gown.  Stephanie at Sweetgrass Events and Tiger Lily florist created a beautiful reception that used silvers, ivories, and pops of purple throughout.  Old photos of the bride and groom were displayed in old rustic frames and hung up to show off the bride and grooms personal style.  Lace and burlap were a staple as decorating pieces to pay respect to the South!  Many of the decorations were handcrafted by the mother of the bride.  Good Food Catering brought southern favorites for guests to dine on.  Entertainment by DJ Mateo Jones had guests dancing all night.  Cakes by Kasarda created a beautiful four tiered white cake that featured cascading purple flowers.  To end the evening the bride and groom were showered with lavender, cheers, and tears!
