Abby and Andrew’s Nautical Wedding

Abby and Andrew met at Charleston Southern University in 2009, and got married this past April.  They had there rehearsal dinner at Red’s on Shem Creek and the following day a ceremony at Immaculate Conception Church in Goose Creek and the reception at Wescott Golf Club.  Megan at Mingle helped make a nautical themed day, with First Bloom of Charleston adding some rope to the boutineer’s and centerpieces.  Abbie’s Bakery tied in the same idea with a beautiful white and navy cake.  We had a great time getting to know these guys over the past few months and wish them lots of happiness! poole-0073 poole-0112 poole-0297 poole-0579 poole-0586 poole-0593 poole-0754 poole-0895 poole-0896 poole-0903 poole-0928 poole-1103

Butterfly Kisses

Erin and Paul were married at Mt. Zion A.M.E Church in Charleston with the reception following at Harbour Club.  The bride wanted a butterfly themed wedding after one of her favorite Irish Blessings: May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun
And find your shoulder to light on,
To bring you luck, happiness and riches
Today, tomorrow and beyond.
The colors of the wedding were plum, silver, and white.

Abbie’s Bakery incorporated edible purple butterflies into the wedding cake and Hood’s Florist provided beautiful purple and white roses for the bouquets. The bride and her mother also played a huge role at the reception, they made all the decorations themselves!
