Jonathan and Sarah had an intimate wedding at Magnolia Plantation, where they wanted to show of the South to guests who were coming from Seattle. Sarah used chalkboards and moss to help pull off the southern feel of the day. Hamby Catering helped with the decorations and also made sure the guests got to try some fried green tomatoes while here, you can’t visit Charleston without having tried them! Cakes by Kasarda did a great job with a Peach themed cake to off the Georgia roots the couple will be planting after the wedding! Congrats you two on a beautiful day, so glad we were apart of your day! Jonathan and Sarah’s wedding was also published on Artfully Wed, and you can check it out here!
Today’s wedding is one that I just love! Venice and Lucio met in college and their wedding shows off 100% their personalities and why they are so perfect for one another. Starting with a love for all things Bolt, they had their Bolt stuffed animals act as ring bearers for the ceremony. Even better, Venice’s bouquet was made out of sheet music from Frozen. Venice and Lucio sang there vows to one another, yes they are multi-talented because they also had a choreographed dance for the first dance! We are so glad we got to know them, and what a great day to be apart of! This wedding was also published on Poptastic Bride, and you can check it out here!
Jennie and George wanted an all Charleston wedding, and what an amazing job they did bringing the day all together. From the beautiful pink bridesmaids dresses, to the exit on a boat this was an amazing wedding! Jennie’s dress came from Gown Boutique of Charleston, and Taylor from Ooh! Events designed the event including the flowers, the tent, and the beautiful table settings. Jennie and George were married at Charleston’s oldest church, First Baptist Church and then were joined with there guests at Lowndes Grove Plantation. I loved the basket weaving details Wedding Cakes by Jim Smeal did for the cake. This was such a fun, sassy, southern wedding to be part of! Jamye and David met in 2002 and when they got engaged and started wedding planning they wanted an all southern wedding. Magnolia Plantation and Garden was the perfect venue for the couple to show of there southern roots. Keri and Elizabeth of Simply Weddings helped to pull off the day as the day of coordinator. Tiger Lily Florist and Event Works did a great job of adding burlap, seersucker, hydrangeas, and mason jars to show off the Plantation. Sticky Fingers provided a boiled peanut bar, and how more southern can you get? We were so happy to be apart of Jayme and Davids special and we wish them many years of happiness.
