Melissa and Bryan’s family and friends waited fourteen years for this special day! Coming from New York Bryan and Melissa were excited to have a destination wedding at Wild Dunes at Isle of Palms. Justin at JW Weddings and Events was great to work with and helped pull of this fun day!
There is nothing more handsome than a man in uniform! The best thing about Amy and John’s wedding was seeing the love they share for each other, it was beautiful! Amy and John were married on October 13 (Happy Birthday Navy!) on the USS Yorktown in Charleston, SC. Blanche Darby provided beautiful pink flowers for the ceremony, (the brides favorite color!), and Shortcakes made a Pineapple Fountain wedding cake since that is the couples favorite landmark in Charleston. Thank You John for your service to our country!

Holly and Nathan had a very beautiful wedding at the Church of the Holy Cross with a reception at the Citadel Beach house following the ceremony. The bride and an absolutely breath taking gown that covered her back with lace and had beautiful gathered ruching. Family is so important to Holly and Nathan and they incorporated family in every aspect that the could, the grooms grandmother even led a Flash Mob at the reception! After waiting almost two years for Megan to finally agree to go out on a date with Ben, it only took a year for these two love birds to get engaged! Megan and Ben had a long distance relationship from Charleston to New York before Megan moved to New York, however the couple chose Charleston as the location for there wedding. Megan did a wonderful job putting mocha brown and light yellow together to make a beautiful color scheme. They could not ask for a more beautiful warm November day at The Island House on John’s Island!

Stephanie and Phil had a beach wedding at Seabrook Island. Mell had some gorgeous natural light shots throughout the day. Stephanie described their wedding as an important day that showed the love she a Phil share while having something special for everyone. Gift bags with Charleston Chews and Sweet Grass Roses were given to guests as well as a Cigar Bar for all to enjoy!

Christina and Ben made there simple Magnolia Plantation wedding fun and funky by added a VW ’67 Microbus to the festivities! Francesca at Pure Luxe Bride used the bride and grooms favorite colors, purple and grey, throughout the wedding and Beth at Wildflowers Inc. created beautiful purple bouquets that matched the groom and groomsmen ties.
Jill and Steve may be from the north, but after becoming engaged the two Charleston City Police Officers knew they wanted to off everything they love about Charleston. Kayla at MOD Events did an excellent job at making the day perfect for the couple and showing off their police background. They had a gorgeous outdoor wedding at the Confederate House and Upstairs at Midtown was an extremely unique reception location that provided outstanding views of downtown Charleston. OK Florist made beautiful flowers make the occasion unforgettable!
