Allison and Ryan’s Magnolia Plantation Wedding

Allison and Ryan chose Magnolia Plantation and Gardens for their June Wedding.  The day was perfect with lots of rustic touches.  Cafe Catering did a wonderful job providing dinner for the bride, groom, and guests.











A Purple Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina Wedding

Alison and Aaron were married at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina on July 21, 2013.  The bride was joined with her son, Zaiden, at the alter.  Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina did a fantastic job of coordinating the event while Ooh Events & Shop Out Of Hand created beautiful flowers and decorations for the day.









Ashley and Michael’s Relaxed Charleston Wedding

Coming from Memphis, Tennessee Michael and Ashley decided to join their lives together at Creek Club at I’on in Mount Pleasant, SC.  Ashley wanted a small stress-free wedding, Event Works helped make that vision come true with a classy blue and green theme.  Beth from Wildflowers, Inc created beautiful spring time bouquets for the bride and her attendants.   D’lish made a small tiered cake along with different flavored cupcakes for the occasion.  The couple was sent off in a boat surrounded by sparklers.












A stylish DYI wedding at Magnolia Plantation.

Johnnie and Chin have been vacationing in Charleston for many years and knew Magnolia Plantation and Gardens was the perfect place for their wedding.  Much of the wedding was DYI with inspiration from blogs and etsy.  Chin wanted a romantic, Charleston feel to her wedding so she had moss hanging around throughout the reception and the signature cocktail was called “The Magnolia”.  The day of coordinator, Charleston Wedding Studio, and the florist, Wildflowers, Inc helped to make this vision come to life.   The wedding cake was designed by Artistic Cakes by Linda and was a round white cake with babies breath and pink and orange roses on each layer.  Johnnie and Chins wedding was also featured in Charleston Wedding Magazine, http://charlestonmag.com/weddings/feature/banking_on_good_ideas, for more pictures from this beautiful wedding check out this link!











Janine and Daniel’s Key West Wedding

Janine and Daniel had a destination wedding in Key West, Florida.  The couple wanted friends and family to be able to spend lots of time together celebrating, while also having a laid back elegant wedding.  Casa Marina is where the couple had their ceremony and reception, and this resort provided the most breathtaking views to create amazing pictures.













Holy City Wedding

Engaged at Holy City Brewery, and to show their love for craft beer, Kelsey and Forrest had a wedding reception themed around beer.  The couple planned a small, casual, rustic wedding that incorporated their Irish and Scottish backgrounds, Kelsey’s military family, and Forrest’s South Carolina roots.  The wedding was held at Legare-Waring House at Charles Towne Landing.  Stacey from Red Letter Events was on site on the wedding day to help bring together this beautiful vision.  Signature Players played during the ceremony using violins.  Cru Catering provided an assortment of fruits, cheeses, and vegetables, which a beautiful cake from D’lish was accented with two love birds.  Jade Water Designs created beautiful centerpieces of peonies and the brides bouquet consisted of white and yellow flowers.  The colors, chosen by the bride, represent springtime in Charleston.












Tina and Chris’s Southern Wedding

Natives of Pennsylvania, Tina and Chris wanted a classy wedding that made guests feel like they were in the deep south.  The colors they chose were champagne and ivory to go very nicely with the Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. Duvall Catering and Event Design helped bring this vision to life with lanterns, hydrangeas, white roses, and lots of candles.  After the ceremony, which was officiated by a friend of the couple, Duvall Catering provided a delicious menu of seafood, salad, mixed vegetables and fruit.











Island House, Johns Island Wedding

Jessica and Ryan were married in June at the Island House on Johns Island.  The location serves as the perfect place for an outdoor ceremony by the water and a reception with a plantation vibe.  Both Southern and Beach!  Jessica wore a form fitting white gown with mint colored heels.  Her theme of shabby chic was shown throughout with the colors being mint, coral, peach and neutrals.  Guests were able to show off their favorite team with a photo booth in which the props included hats and foam fingers.  Crazy Dutchman Catering provided a buffet dinner which included cornbread, potato salad, grits, and a salad bar.  For dessert the couple had cupcakes with a coral and mint love bird and heart on top.  Charleston flower market provided a beautiful white and coral bouquet while the bridesmaids carried bouquets of babies breath.   The tables had white vases with flowers and each guest had a mason jar and koozie to  take home with them.  The couple was sent off in a sea of coral and mint ribbon.









Laura and Bills Traditional Wedding

There is something to be said about tradition.  Laura and Bill had a very traditional wedding in April with the ceremony being held at Belin United Methodist Church in Murells Inlet, South Carolina and the reception being held at Marina Inn at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach.  The bride wore a beautiful halter top gown from Southern Brides in Florence, South Carolina.  The flowers were all different colors of roses with the spotlight being the brides gorgeous all white rose bouquet provided by Blossom’s Events.  With a  black and hot pink themed reception guests and the happy couple dances all night to entertainment provided by Carolina Entertainment.

A Garden Party Wedding.

Katie and Chris had a stunning wedding at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens.  Duvall Catering and Event Design along with Branch Designs did a wonderful job pulling off a garden party meets backyard BBQ for this outdoor wedding.   The flowers that were used throughout the ceremony and reception were right out of a dream.  She used many colors including:  pink, orange, yellow, purple, and green.  Her shoes were even floral decorated!  Lauren at the Cake Stand created a round tiered cake with bright pink camellias that also showed off the brides bubbly personality.  The cake even featured two love birds on the top layer under the flowers. Katie’s ball gown styled dress came from Wedding Row, in Downtown Charleston.  Katie also wore her grandmother’s green cocktail ring which matched her teardrop earrings.  Other Brother Entertainment provided a live band for guests to party and dance to all night.  A white limo from ACW Limo Service awaited the bride and groom as they were sent off with sparklers.
