Shelby and Matt wanted their wedding to be simple and elegant. The two chose gold as their main color focused everything around that. The two chose the Francis Marion because it was close to Grace Episcopal Church and easy for out of town guests to travel back and forth. Matt was born and raised in Charleston and he loves palmetto roses so the two decided to incorporate them into her bouquet and into to the groomsmen boutonnieres. It was a great celebration!
When Sutton and Patrick decided to get married, Charleston was the obvious choice! The two met in Charleston and fell in love here. After choosing the Historic Rice Mill it was easy to see the natural beauty of the venue and go with a minimal rustic theme. The venue was decorated with flickering candles and fresh flowers, all following the color theme of navy, gold and blush. The two wanted wedding to be a huge celebration and to be fun, so they placed games just outside of the bar for a guests to play, a life sized jenga set and a corn hole set and of course, glow sticks on the dance floor!
Larissa and Jason were so excited to not only be getting married, but after being long distance for years- finally living in the same place together! For their wedding they came to Charleston, Jason’s alma mater where they had a lovely ceremony. After the vows were exchanged the party began at Upstairs at Midtown where the couple enjoyed the company of close friends and family!
Katie and James met through a mutual friend. The two wanted to have a wedding that fit their personalities as well as celebrated their love with close friends and family! It was a great day to be out on a cruise and it was a special wedding experience that their guests will not soon forget!
Jaime and Stephen met while playing softball! The two discovered that their mutual passion is baseball. They are self proclaimed as simple people and their priority for the wedding was fun more than flare. Since their love for baseball was important they decided to do a simplistic baseball theme to play off of. The two choose a baseball themed cake topper for the cutting cake – and cupcakes as the main cake. The colors of the wedding were red, white, and black. To add to the fun and the theme the two also had a delicious popcorn bar! It was a great celebration for this sweet couple!
Jenna and Michael had such a perfect and amazing wedding day! The ceremony was romantic and sweet! After the two said their vows and the newlyweds and their guests boarded the Carolina Queen for a fun cocktail hour. The Rice Mill then served as the perfect venue for an elegant celebration of the love that Jenna and Michael share.
Ashleigh and Ryan have been in each others lives since they were children. After life took both of them on different paths it was fate that brought them together and they decided that they never wanted to be apart again! The two wanted a celebration for the love they found in each other that they could always look back on! The extra long dinner table underneath the trees covered in spanish moss made for a beautiful and intimate reception, followed with fun dancing!
CJ and Justin met randomly- being at the right place at the right time as Justin says! The two had in instant connection and thanks to CJ’s outgoing personality the rest is history! For their big day CJ and Justin wanted a serious party that had personal touches everywhere making it a very special celebration. Besides the awesome food stations and the animals at the tables instead of numbers, the dancing was the highlight of the night! The party was a complete success, a great time had by the newlyweds as well as their guests!
Maleena and Cody had a very sweet wedding that had soft blush, mint and cream details. The two planned this destination wedding from Virginia and their friends and family were happy to make the trip to celebrate. It was a great celebration of their love!
